Some Things about the N95 8GB and the US Version!
To be honest, i'm still blown away completely about the last Days, after finishing my Review of the N76's External Screen, the blogging World went nuts on the following 2 Reports: Nokia N95 8GB and the US-optimized Version of the N95 have both passed the FCC, BEFORE Nokia has given any Comments on it! As i said already: Good Bye Rumors - HERE WE GO!! :)
After having a closer Look on both Devices, you might see some Changes on the new Toys:
- -> Both Devices seem to have bigger Joypads now!
- -> They both have redesigned Multimedia Buttons, both will be easier to handle now, as they are grippier and domed! So controll your Music Player without looking will be way easier now!
- -> The Camera Part is redesigned: The Cam Shutter is removed unfortunately, to free up some Space for the BL-6F Battery! A Thing i like: The Camera Part is now plain with the Rest of the Phone - great Move if you ask me
It seems like both Devices are now powered by the BL-6F Battery, which sports 1200 mAh, instead of the crappy 950 mAh!- No further Details so far on the RAM Sitation, nor on the Rumor, that the N95 8GB will have a VGA Screen (i can imagine a 316x452 Res, like on N80/E70)
- It seems like the N95 8GB has no Expansion Slot - bad Move! :(
- The US N95 is now called N95-3!
- A Section in the User Manual of the N95 8GB talks about the upcoming Nokia Music Store!
- The Multimedia Menu is redesigned - if it's more functional? Don't know yet!
And last but not least, again on Wirelessinfo.com, i have found the FCC Links for internal/external Pictures:
