Now that's something unexpected. I'm a monthly Reader from the German Connect Magazine, one of Europes biggest Magazine for Telecommunications! Like in every Issue Connect is posting a huge Best-Of List including all Phones, all Brands, all Devices .. And surprisingly for me, the Nokia 6290 has hit this Top List, blasting on the 2nd Rank as new Entry, forcing the N95 to get back on the 3rd Rank.
Connect also has written a short Review about this Device: They like the Fact that the 6290 features miniUSB and a 2,5mm Audio Jack again, faster Processor which gives a noticable faster OS, big enough Buttons, Stereo Speakers with good solid Sound and a strong Hardware Quality. On the other Hand they're not so satisfied with only 45 MB internal Memory, a very loose Battery Cover and a 2 MP only Cam.
I think the 6290 will be a good over-all Symbian Phone for all People who want to have a strong, solid Phone with all the Advantages of our beloved Symbian S60 OS. What i like too is the external Display again, like on the N76! I think i'm gonna lay my Hands on one of those Devices soon .. ;)
